AKA-D is the artistic identity of Sergio David — a Colombian-born, Miami-based artist, audio engineer, and audiovisual producer. With a deep passion for sound, rhythm, and storytelling, Sergio bridges the worlds of music, television, and digital media through a modern, cross-disciplinary approach.

Sergio began his creative journey as a drummer, studying jazz.

His curiosity for sound design led him into film, TV, and post-production, where he has since contributed to major productions and award-winning campaigns. As a Sound Designer and Audio Engineer at Univision, Sergio has worked on projects such as Premio Lo Nuestro, Latin Grammy, and Premios Juventud, and has earned Promax and Telly Awardsfor excellence in music composition and sound design.

In addition to his corporate work, Sergio leads AKA-D Media, producing and curating digital content across platforms like YouTube and other social media platforms. His innovative approach to storytelling and strategic content creation has helped grow audiences in the podcast and audiovisual industry.

Today, AKA-D stands as a creative hub — where music, visual media, and storytelling converge to inspire, move, and resonate.
